Exploring Central Florida: Resorts

Orlando is the social and economic capital of Florida’s central region and the most popular with British property buyers. It is the excellent destination for investment buyers not only for its different themeparks and other attractions but also the rental potential in the area is really good. As expected, there are always new developments under way in and around the Orlando metropolitan area. Bridgeford Crossing, for instance, is a new resort presently being developed only minutes from Disney and near to numerous other major attractions of the state. Villas of various sizes between three and six bedrooms will be offered by the resort with prices starting from $354,900.

World of Florida at present is selling homes in the new Orangetree resort which is just 15 mintues from Disney World and 45 minutes from the airport. A home with four bedrooms and three bathrooms in this resort can be bought from $384, 600. Kissimmee is a small but vibrant and economically secure city. It is much quieter than Orlando but still close enough to all the major attractions of the state for buyers to still be interested. This city is ideal for those who want a more serene option to the always lively city. Property here is a bit cheaper than in Orlando – a four bedroom villa with a kitchen and heated swimming pool may cost $235,000, although the rental demand for a property there is unlikely to be as high as it is in Orlando. The same way goes with Lakeland and Ocala, both a bit further away from the region’s main attraction. Lakeland is surrounded by some of Florida’s biggest and most scenic lakes. There, a spacious tree-bedroom home with a swimming pooll can be owned for $247,500 while in Ocala, a newly constructed three-bedroom home is priced at $269,900.
