Golf Property on Course for World Domination
Attracting visitors in recent years because of its natural beauty, rich and lively culture, food, notable architecture and year-long sunshine, Morocco has become one of the world’s hottest tourist destinations. The government of Morocco has invested €2.2 billion in new infrastructure and has opened up the country to new tourist attractions such as golf.
The 2007 Moroccan Open will be held in the new luxury golf resort on the Mediterranean coast in Saidia. The golf resort has three courses, marina, commercial centre, medina, spa and equestrian facilities. This will be a wonderful opportunity for investors to purchase a property on one of the future leading resorts in Morocco. Front-line apartments at the resort start from £75,000 and are available through UK agent Manor Park.
The Samanah Golf & Country Club in Marrakesh is ideal for those who prefer a chic city base. Just 14 kilometers from central Marrakech with unrivalled amenities, The Samanah Country Club will be Morocco’s first private residential golf resort. The properties will have unique design and three-bedroom villas start from around £200,000 from Harvey Mellor International.
Last March 2007, Golf Homes Worldwide launched the first exhibition soley for overseas golf property. The exhibition was held at the East Sussex National and showcased properties on golf resorts in a wide variety of countries including Brazil, Egypt, Morocco, and also Bulgaria, Canada, the Carribean, Cyprus, Dubai, Florida, France, Italy, Portugal, South Africa, Spain (including the Balearic and Canary Islands) and Turkey. There were also independent legal, financial and property investment experts who attended. The exhibition aimed to help you decide which golf destination is right for you.
