Property investors in Spain told not to be put off by legal issues
British investors in Spain, including those operating in a buy-to-let market, are advised to be aware of the legal issues but not to turn away from them.
This was disclosed by Pierre Williams, a spokesman from property investment education firm Inside Track, who said that buyers need to check out their properties entirely.
Pierre said, “Investors in Spain should acquire a planning permission first, and that they should be aware of that. Any property that they need to buy must be checked thoroughly for indicators of future problems, and as much as possible, to buy properties in areas that have the go signal.”
After a property has been approved of its safety aspect, then the investors wouldn’t have a problem into buying this property anymore. Aside from the structure itself, those that are taken into consideration are the following: infrastructure, good health service, climate, and well-established expat community, all complimentary to British buyers.
“Of course, there is the issue of surroundings,” adds Pierre. “Spain is where the British go for relaxation and with a pleasing environment, I’m sure that this will be a good place for them to stay.”
Aside from buying the property, there are many positive feedbacks on why investors should lay down their money in Spain: The average return on property investment is 48,74 percent, ten times as much as the United Kingdom and the best in Europe. There are also many areas which are being developed for investors.
Aside from Mr. Williams, others also see a bright future in property investment in Spain.
“The future of property investment in Spain is very positive,” said Mr. Williams. “This goes, especially with foreign investors.”
And the places are really very popular with foreign investors. And with legal issues that need to be aware of, investors have high hopes for the development of the properties in this part of the world.
