Spain is still top overseas property destination
According to a news report, Spain is still the top quality destination that foreigners and tourists go to.
Britons are likely to buy more property in Spain than in France, according to Moneycorp, who conducted a twice-yearly in depth look at overseas property investment.
Moneycorp, a foreign currency specialist, records that at least 30 percent of overseas property investment inquiries for a property investment in Spain, unlike in France, who only garnered about 14 percent.
“Spain is still the country to beat when buying properties and looking for investments. The market has already been tried and tested, and has a stable history of providing good and quality investment and rental returns has been a magnet for buyers in UK for years,” said Moneycorp in its Foreign Focus index.
The countries which Britons are also considering for buying their properties, aside from Spain and France, are the United States and Bulgaria.
These countries, Bulgaria and the United States, are also popular destinations for Britons, garnering an average of 12 percent for both countries.
“Some of the best properties in the United States which are continuously growing are found in Florida, particularly in the Golf Coast destinations such as Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Fort Lauderdale and Sarasota,” reports Moneycorp. “Tampa Bay, for example, is a burgeoning financial district being changed into an exciting hub for city workers wanting to stay and relax in luxury waterside apartments.”
“As for Bulgaria, it has increasingly becoming more popular for tourists from the North, Wales and the Midlands,” noted the foreign currency specialist. “People from these areas are more likely to buy properties in Bulgaria than in the more common properties in France.”
Aside from the four countries mentioned above, also achieving great raves are countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, Italy and Portugal.
